This program is dedicated to harnessing Cuba 's excellent educational system and using it to provide Havana 's children with a knowledge of current affairs, international development and foreign languages. Cuba is renowned for its compulsory education system that Lotus of Hope believes can serve as the groundwork for a future generation of local leaders. By ensuring that even the poorest children of Havana utilize this education, through the power of knowledge, we move one step closer to our vision of uniting a fractured community. |

By taking an infrastructure already in place, Lotus of Hope looks to sew the seeds for a generation of community leaders from those who are not fortunate enough to reap the benefits of an excellent educational system. The Casablanca Project will reintroduce this education to the nation's poorest while also bolstering an understanding of international affairs and culture as a means to provide the region with a canon of knowledge necessary for progress.
The Casablanca Project will protect Cuba 's education system while revitalizing it with an international understanding, with the hope that by doing so we can create new community leaders from those who would never have dreamed of being able.
