In our travels through developing nations, we are confronted all too often with a similar sight – single mothers, themselves lacking in education, without the resources to ensure that their children attend school consistently.

Lotus of Hope partners with existing community organizations to help them extend their current capacities to provide much needed resources for these women and children.
 

 Our mission is to stop the self-perpetuating cycle of poverty and inequitable access to education by:

-          - Providing necessary resources to single mothers and their children to ensure that they have access to education – an essential human right.

- Providing necessary resources to help single mothers and their children harness their potentials to improve the safety, economic standing, and stability of their communities.

- Providing continuing support to our partner organizations to enable them to maintain lasting, consistent presences in their communities.

Lotus of Hope was founded by a group of young professional women from around the globe, joined by a common desire to use their diverse experiences and accomplishments to eradicate poverty by exposing and ending the egregious educational inequalities that exist internationally.  Drawing on experience in human rights law, education, health, and finance, we have sought out local organizations that are already working hard to lift their communities out of poverty by improving the lives of mothers and children.  However, the demands on these organizations is immense.  It is our goal to extend their reach by providing them with essential capital, intellectual, and legal resources.
